ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create product documentation for end users and system administrators
  • Author using a variety of tools
  • Research, write, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of content that covers current and future product releases
  • Work closely with multiple development teams that may include software, biomedical and research
  • Conduct peer reviews of documentation
  • Continuously improve documentation by responding to and incorporating feedback from customers, developers and internal users
  • Collaborate with developers to produce and share content for different types of deliverables (product documentation, specifications, proposals)
  • Proofread and edit assigned documentation deliverables
  • Assemble, edit, and format user, development, quality and training documentation

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Expertise:

  • Multiple years of experience in technical writing/editing
  • 1 year experience in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to quickly learn and organize complex technical information
  • Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Expertise:

  • Degree or equivalent with technical training or certification
  • Experience with software development tools
  • Experience supporting documentation requirements of government agencies, including DoD and FDA
  • Experience in HTML markup
